How Toy Brand Sticki Rolls Won Over Generation Alpha Through YouTube

Launched in 2024, sticker brand Sticki Rolls first found its audience through YouTube creators, unboxing videos and sticker-trading trends — today, videos featuring its products have racked up more than 1 billion views on YouTube. Building on that success, the brand is now pushing into new channels for growth.
Sticki Rolls' signature sticker books were initially sold at specialty toy stores and on Amazon, later expanding into Target. In late 2025, the brand landed its biggest retail partner yet, Walmart, and its products are now available in more than 60 countries. Last year, the Sticki Book collection was named Creative Toy of the Year at the UK Toy Industry Awards' 60th anniversary ceremony.
Riding that momentum, the brand hosted a pop-up event in early August at Chillhouse, a nail studio in New York, where guests received custom Sticki-themed manicures. Nearly 1,000 guests turned out over the two-day event, and more than 500 free manicures were given out. The payoff was immediate: according to Google Trends, searches for "Sticki Rolls" jumped 50% week-over-week and 130% month-over-month following the event, while the brand's YouTube channel picked up 20,000 new subscribers.
According to Michelle Wong, senior vice president of global marketing at Jazwares, the manufacturing partner that handles licensing and distribution for Sticki Rolls, the brand has worked with YouTube stars Anna Altamirano and Erin Degan — who together have 775,000 subscribers — since its launch. Their videos typically focus on kawaii-style crafts and toys, framing the product not just as a toy but as part of a fashion and lifestyle world.
Wong notes that YouTube's long-form format lets the brand build a deeper narrative that fully draws consumers into the Sticki Rolls world, while live events blend digital and physical experiences to strengthen the emotional bond with younger audiences. "You can't do that purely online," Wong said.
