Gemini 3.7 Flash rolls out in Google Search
Starting today, Google is rolling its newest AI model, Gemini 3.7 Flash, into Google Search. The update is currently available in English only, for Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers worldwide.
The company had previously positioned Gemini 3.7 Flash as its smartest workhorse model for coding and agents (AI systems that carry out a user's tasks independently). In Search, the model strengthens AI Mode's (a dedicated AI-powered mode within Google Search) ability to understand user instructions and pin down intent, helping it deliver more useful answers.
To use Gemini 3.7 Flash, paying subscribers simply tap the "+" icon inside AI Mode and select it from the available models. Google representative Robby Stein said the feature is "rolling out in AI Mode starting today, worldwide, for English-language Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers." The company says the capability could become available to free users in the coming weeks or months.
Ongoing improvements to the model will keep expanding what Google Search and AI Mode can do over time, making the search experience progressively smarter and more responsive to user needs.
